目には見えないけど存在するものたち。風や時や音、人の想い。
もう見ることは出来ないけど、かつて確かに存在したものたち。
千年前に降ってた雨の音、百年前の誰かの溜息、昨日の空に浮かんでた雲。
この映画を観て、それぞれの心の中だけにある（昨日の雲）を思い出し、感じてもらえたなら嬉しいです。
It has already been 10 years since I began filming.
Everytime I look back on it I am amazed.
What amazes me is how much of what had been etched into the film, "Clouds of Yesterday" no longer is.
The theater, the train tracks, the trees along the river have isappeared.
There are performers and staff members we will no longer see.
Wind, time, sound, thoughts ... All are invisible, yet all exist.
What we no longer see but what certainly existed, such as a sigh heaved by someone a thousand years ago, a raindrop that fell a
hundred years ago, or the "Clouds of Yesterday" - the clouds of yesterday ... I will be glad if this film reminds you of such things.

映画制作の傍ら、映画や舞台にも出演。 主な出演作品に、『ポストカード』（99年）『パレード』（00年）『アダムとイブ（作・寺山修司）』（2002年）『常世の恋人』『港のロキシー』他。
またアコーディオン奏者としては、1999年に、楽団「くものすカルテット」を結成。 生の弁士と演奏付きによる、自作の無声映画上映会を全国各地で行い好評を博す。 林海象、梅津和時、吉田日出子、あがた森魚、南流石、めいなCO、ケラリーノ・サンドロヴィッチ等と共演。 子供向けミュージカルの作曲を依頼される等、映画、演劇、音楽と多方面で活動を続けている。 弘前大学や仙台宮城野高校に特別講師として招かれ講演活動も行う。

Founded the band "Kumonosu Quartet", staging all over Japan his silent film accompanying narration and music. |

While producing the film, he acted on stages and in films.
Staging as an accordionist with various singers, he is now in full Activity on the playground of the films, the living theatre, and the music.
